@phileoparis MECHANIC – SS 2023 COLLECTION For his 6th collection entitled "MECHANIC", Philéo explores his passion for cars, by focusing on Formula 1 races. With their printed flowers and their dark shades, the shoes tell a mythical episode of F1 history: the 1994 San Marino Motor Grand Prix described as "the darkest Grand Prix day". “ The collection evokes the year 1994 and the black weekend of Imola (May 1st, 1994) with the loss of Ratzenberger and Senna. I thought of it as a critique of the human condition which favors risk over the protection of the physical integrity of others, to satisfy their thirst for performance and individualistic achievement.” Philéo. __ This new collection unveils a new signature sole, reworked with a bolder look. featuring the brand's signature "P" on the back and imprinted under the shoe. Exciting this season, comes an exclusive @phileoparis x @kangol_headwear collaboration made of two caps whose prints echo the shoes in the collection. This capsule is based on friendship and common values. Kangol is a brand worn daily by the creator so it was only fitting for this partnership to come to life in a very natural way. Friendship and collaboration are key to Philéo. This season, he has invited the french music label @bambelabel who gave a special tune. The new SS2023 collection, “MECHANIC” as well as the KANGOL and BAMBE collaborations were unveiled on June 25th through a special event at @3537org in Paris. - ABOUT @phileoparis Paris based shoe label PHILEO, founded by 20-year-old Philéo Landowski, proposes a new take on high-end footwear.
