Emily Manwaring Artist New York City I met @em.ill.e during Art Basel in Miami. She was holding a bunch of roses and taking a selfie of herself in front of her painting. I offered to snap for her and afterwards she shared with me the meaning behind the vivid paintings that were inspired by her experiences in Flatbush and Jamaica, Queens. She memorializes moments in her life make her feel at peace and at home in her heart. The art and artists - that catch my eye and tap into my soul - put their heart into and on the canvas.
