the art for my upcoming single, PAPER TIGER. midnight x 03/25. presave link is in my bio. i would sincerely appreciate if you navigated there and gave it a lil clickclick. my grandmother, sue (하해숙), is the stunning subject of the photographs i have been sharing. i call her mom. mom fled north korea during the war as a teenager. it is my understanding that she was ushered onto a southbound train in the middle of the night and lost contact with most of her loved ones. just a single marker in mom’s life, though one i wanted you to know about. i don’t have the language to articulate the magnitude of mom’s presence. mom’s brilliance.. i can tell you that i swell when i think of her. that i become dizzy with reverence when i swirl around and fish for the words. my hope is that you yourself can feel a modicum of mom in these photographs. i invite you to look closer at them with me. i appreciate your time and precious brain space and if you’ve made it this far, gimme a little shout (xxx) :} thank you for your warm reception of these very personal photos and of my track paper tiger. !!!! ok did i say the presave thing already? lingk in byebye go cliqueit gr!
