I recently returned to @brand_lataqueria for lunch to try out a few of their new items. They’re a taquería located in the North Alamitos Beach and Bixby Knolls (Steelcraft) areas of Long Beach. I got to try out their tacos dorados, tamales locos, and capirotada. Featured here are the tacos dorados, which are launching this Thursday 11/17:⁣ ⁣ Tacos Dorados de Papa (with Canajillo Shrimp)⁣ These deep-fried tacos are stuffed with potato (a la Mexicana) and topped with cabbage, crema, salsa huevona, cotija, and shrimp. The end result is a seriously crispy taco filled with a savory and fluffy mashed potato. When paired with shrimp and a side of shrimp consome, the whole package is a flavor punch that’ll hit the spot.⁣ ⁣ In brief, La Taqueria Brand is one of my go-to spots for a quality taco.
