Izola Tahitian Vanilla Knots, hot from the oven and freshly enrobed with homemade vanilla icing. Our Tahitian Vanilla Knots begin their journey with organic milk and whole Tahitian vanilla beans. We steep the milk for days, allowing the gentle, sweet aroma of the vanilla bean to fully infuse the milk. The vanilla-scented milk is then used to make our croissant dough - where it is combined with organic flour from Utah, organic sugar, fresh yeast. We laminate the dough with the best tasting butter in the world from a small farmers’ co-op in Normandy, France. Each Vanilla Knot is hand cut and hand braided by our Dojo team. After they proof for a precise amount of time, at an exact temperature and humidity, they are baked in our @salva_industrial convection oven. Once they are slightly cooled, our bake team enrobes them in house made Tahitian vanilla icing - made with more Tahitian vanilla beans and powdered sugar.
