I adore anything Adrienne Young writes and this was just what I wanted it to be. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ On paper, Spells for Forgetting should not work for me. My bestie and I talked about it the entire time I read it. It's beautifully atmospheric. It's a little slower than I usually want. It's got an unsolved murder and while it has a romance, it's softer than I normally read. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ All of those things combined made for a story I could not stop reading. I texted friends. I talked about it in person. This murder/witchy/fall/romance kept me clutching my kindle in bed and falling asleep with it in a death grip so i could read just a few more words. It's exactly what you need to read on your porch with a blanket on a cozy fall day. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Did I make you read Fable? (if not, read it) You need this one, too.
