Some of my earliest memories of feeling uncomfortable in my body are from being in the beach. Being from New York, many of these memories take place in the Hamptons, which amplifies just how powerful it feels to have @annelise007 write about such an important topic in a magazine that, growing up, I would look to for thinspo. It shows me how much the dialogue around #eatingdisorders has opened up. And last night, at a beautiful fashion party I was congratulated and recognized for the work that @thepouf and I do in this arena. Instead of a group of women commenting on what my body looked like, or talking about diets, or gossiping about people’s weight loss or gain, I found myself in a circle of powerful women talking about @thechain.
