🔅Katherine Gorge🔅 We really don't do shit by halves. And sometimes I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing! 🤷🏼‍♀️🙈 We did our research on Katherine Gorge...We wanted to kayak it 🛶 To kayak it you have to pay to catch a boat (through croc waters) to their kayaks that you can paddle up through the (non croc waters!) gorge. BUT they don't allow under 5s to use their kayaks 😠 Okay, no worries, we'll take our kayak up on their boat and use our kayak to paddle up the gorge from there. BUT they don't allow you to take your own watercraft. Even if it's inflatable and the size of a large backpack 😠😠 BUT we were determined. So we hiked 10km carrying an inflatable kayak, oars, pump, a child, towels, swimmers, life jackets, food for a full day and enough drinking water for all of us for a full day 🥾🥾 Was it worth it?! Abso-bloody-lutely!!! 👌🏻👍🏼 We had an incredible day! The walk was tough, but stunning! We kayaked up through the gorges to gorge 7, dragging the kayak over the rocks to from one gorge to the next.
