For our second collaboration with Japanese furniture brand @ariake_collection , inspiration struck in a design workshop during a trip to Saga. We stumbled upon a petite stool, almost hidden under a desk, and were immediately struck by its functional simplicity. We wanted to create a new stool that felt as natural and confident as the one in the Ariake factory, but for a broader context. The resulting Homage Stool is the indispensable extra seat for the home dining table – with enough personality to set the tone of voice for a cafe or restaurant.
