normally i don’t like to post about any accomplishment because i’m shy BUT this is a big one...our show transnational was nominated for a peabody!!!! i cannot wrap my head around that AT ALL! the process of making this show was so emotionally intense and i cried a lot, but we also laughed, reveled, and told beautiful stories. we set out to make a show that told trans stories differently with more trans people in front of, behind, and involved in the storytelling and to see this show get acknowledged, wow. as someone who always feels out of place in the workplace, this show meant a lot. first of all, i am so grateful for everyone who dared to tell us their story on camera—it means the world. i’m honored to work alongside the most talented team @dayclancy @jh_hinzel @treynormal @sarahlubyburke @danming. i got to host alongside the brilliant and soon-to-be-famous @msevareign along with @ranatamrin @freddy.mcconnell and @gazaldhaliwal. and there are so, so many people who touched this series like @tonyandthecity @anyazoledz @cassandragiraldo @jikaglez @laragheintz @sommerstace @laufeylena @courtneyrosebrooks @ohheyitsdyl @yungfoxmulder @ipolso @argarrett @jamie_lev and countless others. xoxo gossip they
