I once earnestly asked her if she’s an angel in disguise as a human, she laughed and said “no.” I’m still not convinced that’s the truth. Either way, I’m beyond fortunate I get to call her a friend. I haven’t said my morning prayers yet but hopefully this post counts as an expression of my immeasurable gratitude. I learn from Heidi every day and she makes me feel safe and understood in a way I hope everyone gets to experience in this lifetime. She’ll do it for anyone. It’s just who she is.
