I’ve always loved hiking but it’s definitely changed (for the better) over the years as I’ve continued to prioritize my health & fitness! I was so grateful for such beautiful weather hiking yesterday & was happy to get 20,000 steps for my StepBet 😝 There were multiple times yesterday when I thought back to 2018 and pushing myself to hike but struggling with breathing and knee/back/feet pain. At that point, I didn’t think it was possible for me to ever feel better. I started to prioritize my nutrition and fitness & it’s amazing to feel the differences because of it. I even make better choices now like fueling and hydrating my body before and during the hike! It’s not always easy to make healthier choices everyday but it’s experiences like these that remind me how worth it the hard work is!
