157 Boulevard Charles de Gaulle, Neuilly, France:
Corian® Exteriors for a major building renewal.
As part of the major redevelopment of the whole boulevard, the building at number 157 of Boulevard Charles de Gaulle in Neuilly, France - on the main road connecting Paris to its business district, La Défense - has undergone a thorough renovation which radically transformed it. With its 11 000 square metres of office space, 2 600 square metres of terraces and gardens and its facade made with 800 Corian® Exteriors panels (based on Corian® Solid Surface in the Glacier White colour), it fits now perfectly with the dynamic spirit of the district, which is home to many companies. The apparent simplicity of the façade grid, which takes up the existing structure and wraps the entire building, conveys a unitary character as opposed to the housing buildings on the small rue des Graviers. Building and project owner: Gecina (www.gecina.fr); architectural project by LBBA-Architecture (www.lbba-architecture.com); fabrication of Corian® Solid Surface by Créa-Diffusion (www.crea-diffusion.com/); photos by Kamel Khalfi, all rights reserved.
