Ayyyyyyyye I’ve officially completed my 5 Day Watermelon Fast. I lost a total of 13lbs and although I didn’t do it for weightloss I won’t lie it definitely felt good to see the number on the scale go down daily 🍉 This was my second one. I did one last year after seeing the homies @veganvonnie13 and @astrotwin11 doing one and they shared the info and inspired me. This year I've seen a few others doing it as well. Shoutout to @dutchiedutch_ and @organicloso 🫡 It’s not easy, but it was definitely worth it. I committed to 5 days of intermittent fasting. Eating only during (11am to 7pm) with just watermelon and drinking water. After completing my fast here’s what I got in return: ♦️ More energy ♦️ Better sleep ♦️ Clearer skin ♦️ Sharper thoughts ♦️ & a Deeper connection with God through my daily prayers! Sometimes growth isn’t in adding more... it’s in subtracting what’s no longer serving you. I personally feel lighter, my minds clearer, and I feel more aligned with God’s purpose! I know fasting isn’t for everyone, but I think I'm starting to love fasting a few times throughout the year.
