Since 1959, Ala Moana Center's iconic Big Santa has made his annual appearance atop the makai parking deck, signaling the official start of the holiday season in Hawaii. The new and improved Big Santa debuted in 2020, made of all new materials using 2500 sq. ft. of fiberglass and close to 2,000 pounds of resin that’ll last another 60 years.
