“PRIMORDIAL REFUGE” - Photos from the opening reception of @aaronglasson’s exhibition entitled, “PRIMORDIAL REFUGE”, @icasandiego earlier this summer. - @aaronglasson hosted an artist talk where he broke down his previous work & how it led him to creating Migration Home 1 (MH1) & a community library made of salvaged wood full of books relating to ecology, sustainability, & climate change. - The theme of the exhibition challenged visitors to think deeply about utopian solutions for how humans are going to adapt to changing landscapes as climate change accelerates & displaces communities. - As Aaron put it, “If all we are talking about is a dystopian future, I can’t help but think that it’s going to be some kind of self-fulfilling prophecy.” • @aaronglasson 🎨✨
