A mentor once told me.."go where there is no path and create a trail" When I was elected the first Black woman student body president of USC in its 212 year history nearly 20 years ago..I knew it was important but I didn't fully understood the magnitude of the moment. I'm honored to have my name on the beloved bricks of the @uofsc Historic Horseshoe.
