In some states where abortion has been banned or restricted, healthcare providers are at risk of being sued, fired, or arrested just for doing the jobs they swore an oath to do - protect their patients. We can’t let that kind of future happen here in California, which is why we need to protect abortion as a basic health care right and add it directly to the State Constitution.
