I wrote this to the broken girl I felt in myself in 2018 I randomly found this poem the day I returned from my 3rd 10 day Vipassana course a few weeks ago. I realised almost instantaneously that I had been nursing and holding space for all the shattered parts of myself for many many maaaaany years and finally I can sense the homecoming of self. This journey back to the heart I speak of is no fictional tale, it's a triumphant heart ripping and expanding story of reclaiming and reconciling all the parts of ourselves that have not felt safe in this world, in our bodies. We all have a broken parts of ourselves that we need to call home. It is our job to build the lighted house in our sacred vessels with Love and commitment and then gently allow for the reunion of self, the beloved. ”Tell me the truth, I asked love, what are you?
