THE CAT IS OUT OF THE BAG!!! WE WON A PEABODY!! This series has been a labor of love since the beginning. We poured so much time and intention into everything we could from staffing, to writing, to editing, and the list goes on. This wouldn’t have been possible without every single person who either worked on this show, agreed to be on camera, or provided moral support for all of the above. It’s a huge, huge honor for me as a trans person working in media to see work like this get recognized, especially at a time when these stories arguably matter most. Getting to do this work alongside the accomplished roster of hosts @msevareign @gazaldhaliwal @ranatamrin @freddy.mcconnell and the uber talented series producers @jh_hinzel @treynormal @danming @dayclancy + @tonyandthecity is a dream come true and then some. I’m endlessly grateful to @sarahlubyburke who led our scrappy team, especially at times when we felt like we were hitting obstacle after obstacle. And of course, this wouldn’t have been possible without the sources who let us into the most intimate part of their lives and shared a piece of themselves with us. Shoutout to all of my friends and family for being supportive throughout the process, even when it meant I wouldn’t answer texts for weeks.
