To have the chance to recreate Kubricks work was a mind bending treat, pulling back the curtain, I learnt that the shining bathroom was tiny, eyes wide shut apt was a recreation of Kubrick’s own nyc apartment, that the clockwork orange house is a Norman foster design and that the Adam’s probe car which was one of only 3 ever made, and is owned by Colin Freyerbrand, who was generous enough to say yup I’ll let you shoot it ! In the end the whole project rested on the team and what a joy that was. I guess Kubrick pleased the film gods because we got given such a great ride.
