NYC with @alxcext and @narsissist for their powermatte launch 🚀 when people ask me where I’m from I usually say New York because that’s where I was born, but on this first trip back to the US since Covid, I realised although I love (parts of) the US, it’s not a place I see as home. As anyone who grew up in a lot of places can relate, when people ask you where you’re from it usually sends me into a weird spiral- do I say where I spent my childhood? Or where I went to school? Or where I was born? Or where I live now? Or what my heritage is? My answer usually changes depending on who I’m talking to- but I’m trying to be more intentional about the words I use when I communicate, so I’ll have to ponder 💭 on that question Regardless, super fun to experience the magic of the city, eat some good pizza and wear some cute fits
