I absolutely adore fantasy romance books, so here are some I’ve read recently and some I’ve read years ago that I still recommend all the time. • ‘Throne of the Fallen’ by @kerrimaniscalco: I’m always partial to a good standalone, and this one was such a fun read. I loved the two main characters and the fact that it’s a slow burn with spice. • ‘A Dance of Lies’ by @Brittney Arena: This book completely surprised me with how much I loved it. The disability and illness representation were excellent, the dance scenes vividly written, and the court intrigue kept me hooked. I can’t wait for book two. • ‘Spark of the Everflame’ by @Penn Cole Author : One of the first fantasy romance series I ever read, and I devoured all three books. Book two is my favorite, and I loved the true slow burn, found family, and the amazing secondary characters. I’m looking forward to the last book. • ‘Metal Slinger’ by @RachelSchneiderAuthor : This was the book that made me start a booktok account because I needed someone to talk to about that ending. The plot twists were incredible, I loved the world-building and book two is already preordered. :) • ‘A Tongue so Sweet and Deadly’ by @Sophia Author 📚 : The originality of the trials and their setting blew me away, and I adore the FMC so much.
