Human v. Plant Episode 13: The Plant Swap 🪴<>🪴 ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ As much as I love a good plant swap, it is difficult to part with my plants that I’ve grown for quite a while. You develop a relationship with those plants, and honestly it is that relationship which inspired this Human v. Plant series in the first place 🤷‍♂️⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I know the scientific community argues against anthropomorphizing plants and animals (aka assigning them names and human-like traits) but if that is what it takes for you to build EMPATHY towards them, then I’m perfectly ok with it. Empathy is the key to movements like the climate crisis and plant-based diets, and the moment we can take ourselves out of our human-centric bubble, the easier it will be to connect with and want to protect the natural world around us 🌎⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ As for the plant swaps...
