Onigirazu, which my brain always likens to a sushi sandwich 🍣 This was my first time making onigirazu and it came out wonderfully!! I dislike using single-use plastic and tried really hard to not use Saran Wrap at first but I overloaded it and it needed something to keep it in, yaknow. I think these would be perfect to bring on picnics or hikes... (if I hiked 🤪).
ɪɴ ᴍʏ ᴏɴɪɢɪʀᴀᴢᴜ:
◦ rice tossed with mirin, rice vinegar, furikake, pinch of salt
◦ air-fried salmon — I air-fried a 4oz piece at 400F for 8 mins and it came out perfect!!
◦ spinach

◦ sriracha

» I added a smaller seaweed square on top of the toppings before folding the larger sheet over to try to hold things together more
» run your knife through water before slicing to keep it from sticking
