I recently returned to @phnompenhnoodleshack located right on the outskirts of Cambodia Town in Long Beach. They’re a Cambodian restaurant with a focus on Phnom Penh Noodles—Cambodia’s equivalent of Vietnamese pho. This time, I’m showcasing their Cha Quai, also known as Chinese donuts or youtiao. ⁣ ⁣ Cha Quai are deep-fried breadsticks that are often used as a vehicle for dipping into soups, stews, or even coffee and tea as an appetizer.
