This morning I had a call with one of my clients. He’s an actor in Hollywood, and he’s a coach for actors. He’s in the middle of a transition many of us go through: he is stepping up to a higher level vibrationally When you are invited to your next level, often, you’ll have to give up this current playing field that you are on. This sacrifice, this release, this letting go can cause us a great deal of pain and grief, and other high charged emotions. Even though we are getting what we asked for, which is more abundance, more opportunity, more of the work/people that feel in alignment with you it can still trigger a world of emotions. As his coach, I can’t let him go back to the old world, to his old ways, to the cheaper programs that he’s used to selling because they are no longer in alignment with him not the type I client he wants to work for. For three months, we have been working together to get him to step into THE CALLING, to step into these new offerings, to embody who he is in the present moment and not who he used to be. He's arrived!!! He’s doing GREAT with this work. We’ve gotten clarity on his offers, how he is showing up to his clients, and fully embodying his acting career. The nigredo is a term from alchemy that refers to those moments in life where we have to metabolize our experience, cook it, and use the stories/energy of our lives. The nigredo is often a place that is filled with emotions because it is the emotional charge that comes BEFORE the transformation. I LOVE doing coaching.
