That’s a wrap on an amazing summer leading the drag program at @bravetrails LGBTQ+ summer camp 🌈🏕😁 4 sessions. 2 months. Over 300 campers came through Brave Trails this summer; 38 that I lived with in the cabin, nearly 100 that went through the drag program. I feel many things wrapping up the summer, but most of all, I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with these amazing queer youth. My hope is that they’ve left each session feeling seen and loved, and that their path forward is illuminated with greater joy and possibility. At Brave Trails, I’ve found community; I’ve found purpose; and I’ve found myself. My heart is full of so much love for these people and this place.
