I am inspired by the Newton’s, the creative boundaries they broke and the love for each other. When Helmut proposed to June in 1948 he touchingly told her “We would never be rich, we’d always be poor and that photography would always be my first love, and you would be my second.” #chateaumarmont is where the Newton’s lived when they were in LA and where Helmut passed away in a car accident outside the Chateau valet.
