Hello Dolomites, Italy and welcome to @chalet_al_foss! [Save + Share] This hotel has been on our bucket list for a while and we finally made it. 🤗 Having breakfast with the alpacas is one of their signature experiences and it was definitely an experience to remember! The Dolomites are in Northern Italy and are absolutely stunning— just look at the mountain views in this video! To get here we flew into the Venice airport, rented a car, and drove 3.5 hours. Don’t forget when coming from the US (and other non-EU countries) an International Drivers License is required to drive here. You can get one at your local AAA office. Manual cars are standard in Europe so if you can’t drive stick shift be sure to rent a car well in advance and expect to pay about double in price.
