Do your hand tied wefts look like this❓ Looping or unraveling happens when you brush over the tops of your wefts. Unfortunately this is very damaging and often leads to wefts being replaced sooner! Once these large loops begin to unravel, the wefts will begin to shed and tangle. They no longer lay flat and they’re very difficult to stitch down. If looping is in the early stages, I often am able to gentle pull the wefts back together and educate my guest on the cause. But once the hair has large loops or unraveled sections replacement is the only good solution. To prevent this problem always make sure you plane your hand at the very top of your wefts, protecting the tops and the stitching, and brush up to you hand. Never brush over the tops of your wefts or leave moisture in your hair for too long!
