So Íon has seen a lot of new followers on here recently so thought it about time I reintroduced myself I’m Nikki, the face behind Íon Candle Co. I’m a busy Mum to twins Joshua & Rachel (4) and Emily (7) whilst also being the owner behind this growing business. Running a small business while being mum and running the household is no small feat but yet I wouldn’t change a thing. Before starting Íon I worked in retail management after which I found an amazing job at Dublin Airport’s Platinum Services. Like many, I decided at the start of Covid that family time was too precious and I didn’t want that time to disappear while they were still young so decided to take some time away from my full time job while also fulfilling a passion of mine and go all in on candle making. While I’m not being Mum I spend my time working and growing my dream brand which I’ve created. I’ve a love for creating things and incorporating this into Íon is my passion. You might think by the lanuage I use on my posts that behind Íon there is more than one of us, but in fact it’s just me. I’m founder, owner, candle creator but also chief wax pourer, head of labelling, logistics manager, the customer service dept and the marketing team! 😂 and I love it all... When I’m not making candles I have a love for interiors and baking. We moved into our home just over 2 years ago so you will also find me pour lots of love into making it our dream home. I also enjoy running, travelling and time out with my besties... Emily, Joshua & Rachel & husband Lee.
