Fuck Marriage, Kill. a collaborative concept featuring the one and only @la.lia aka my newest muse / creative partner in crime. these photos are meant to portray the frustration and resentment that follows falling into an unwanted marriage. throughout the set, lia displays an apathetic mood towards the fundamentals of marriage. for instance, she’s seen making phone calls (perhaps to thank everyone for their gifts) and pointing a gun to what we can assume is a cake from the wedding. even the simplest of things like taking out the trash leave her outraged. she turns to her vices such as television, smoking, devouring glitter covered treats to stay distracted just long enough to keep her from going mad. but in the end, as we all do, she comes to realize the burden is too much to bear and sets off on a mission of vengeance. maybe she plans to kill her husband? maybe she already has? all we can know for sure is, she looks absolutely fucking stunning while executing every part of this concept. thank you @la.lia for endlessly inspiring me and always being down to get a little crazy. there is so much more to come from this series, but it only felt right to first share some of my absolute favorite film shots to date. feel free, or better yet compelled, to tag a magazine, fellow creative, or pal you think would enjoy this set. these were all shot on a minolta passed down to me from my father & a thrifted point and shoot camera. set/photo by me model/hair&makeup by lia styling was collaborative, heavily inspired by lia’s usual at-home wear #35mm #cinestill800t #lomo400 #girlsonfilm
