Today was a rough morning spent at Hiroshima Ground Zero. 220,000 people died and countless others injured. I don’t know how to post about this tastefully apart from saying that it is important to remind ourselves about the horrors of the past. War, hatred, anger, prejudice, xenophobia, transphobia and homophobia ... These atrocities have happened and continue to happen NOW at home and elsewhere around the world. Even today there are flirtations w nuclear war... it’s mindboggling. I think it IS up to each of us to take active interest however we can and in whatever ways we feel appropriate as artists and global citizens to ensure things like this stop happening. Be on the right side of history. #peace ☮️
