🚨Performance Alert🚨 We are BEYOND delighted to announce Discretion, a performance created by Edinburgh International Book Festival in association with Good Chance, will be performed this Sunday at the @edbookfest 🎭 📖 60 years ago, Algeria won independence from French rule following a bloody eight-year war. Many fled to France to escape violence by both sides, including Faїza Guène’s parents. Guène’s Discretion is a deft exploration of a generation that remained discreet about harrowing experiences. The novel has inspired Sunday's performance, with beautiful live music and projection. Our very own Creative Producer Dina Mousawi served as Associate Director on this one, with the ever wonderful Fiorella Lecoutteux as Producer👏🏽 An in person event is taking place this Sunday 28th August 2022 at Baillie Gifford Sculpture Court in Edinburgh.
