When @vicmofo’s father and best friend passed away at the end of last year she found herself lost. Committing to moving forward in the new year, Victoria signed up to run a marathon and dedicate the journey to her father’s legacy by sharing his life lessons. ⠀ Through Project Moonshot – @nikenyc’s 16-week marathon training program – Victoria found a community of like-minded athletes, coaches, and mentors. This community not only helped her become a more confident runner and a better person, but also helped to ease the grieving process. ⠀ Here’s to you Champ, and to every runner who committed to take on 26.2 miles in New York City. #projectmoonshotnyc
