✨Creative Innocence.✨ This is my @schiaparelli Haute Couture F/W 2022 illustration for the @drawadot open call. Drawing and painting those pearls took hours but I fell in love with this dress (created by @danielroseberry) & really wanted to illustrate it. Another question to be answered was: What is beauty to you? Well, that’s a big question. To me, beauty is not what is only seen with the eyes, it’s what you experience with your heart, your soul, your mind. It is not about a perfect surface, harmonious proportions or perfection at all. It can be imperfection and full of so called flaws. In this work it seems like the lady was mirrored in the middle, but if you take a closer look you will see that both sides have subtle differences. There are details to figure out, things to interpret, reasons to stay a little while. Beauty is that je ne sais quoi that catches your attention, maybe something you don’t understand at first glance.
