and just like that, the tour with @jackjohnson & @emilywurramara_ is over 😭 To be honest, I’ve hardly had time to decompress. I’ve been on the road more or less for 3 months, and its our last week in office @commonfolkrecords so I will share with you what is obvious to me on this tired, hot afternoon in Australia. Surrounding Jack is a wonderful band, a wonderful family, and a wonderful team. It’s one thing to be an artist with solid values and ethics ; to have a whole ecosystem sharing that vision, AND following through, is truly inspiring. I feel, for the lack of a better word, blessed to get to share time with all these people. Just like 5 years ago, when I first met Jack, I walk away inspired to keep striving to do better. Emily absolutely smashed it and her duet with Jack was so awesome. Tour was so busy we didn’t get lots of time together, but it was a treat non the less !
