My 5 biggest takeaways from this weekend:
1. Taking accountability for where I am in my life and the decisions that got me here- good or bad. My life won’t get better by the “flip of a switch,” it will get better through consistent good habits overtime (currently reading the Compound effect and this book talks a lot about this). Your life will not get better by chance, it will get better by change. If you want the next 5 years to be different from the last 5 years, your decisions and actions need to change.
2. You know the saying, you’re a product of the 5 people you spend the most time with? The closest people to you are the people having the biggest impact on your thoughts, actions and beliefs- let’s make sure we make an effort to get around more people who will make us feel uncomfortable in the sense that they are not going to let us settle in our misery, instead they’re going to lift us to higher places. Les Brown says, “if you’re the smartest one in you’re group, you need to get a new group” and OQP (only quality people)
3. Having a clear vision of where you want your life to go, what goals you want to reach. Most importantly, WHY you want to reach those goals is more important than HOW you’re going to reach your goals. When the vision is clear, the price is easy to pay. When your “why” is clear and powerful, the “how” becomes easy.
I am so fortunate to be a part of this company. Im so proud of 21 year old me, for saying yes to this opportunity almost 7 years ago, for leaning in and taking a chance on myself, for having child-like faith and not allowing the outside noise to become a distraction. Because I truly don’t know where my life would be today if I didn’t have this opportunity where my biggest job is to work on myself in every day and in every way. Like, I really GET to do this. ❤️🔥
2025 is the year of rebirth 🪷
