The Studio Museum in Harlem extends a gracious thank you to all who attended our annual Lea K. Green Artist Talk!⠀ ⠀ This year's talk honored artist Sanford Biggers, who was in conversation with friend, artist, and educator Derek Fordjour. The pair discussed Sanford's expansive practice, his Buddhist influences, and the importance of art programs at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). This annual artist talk is made possible by the Lea K. Green Memorial Fund which honors the life and legacy of Lea K. Green (1974–2014), who was the Studio Museum's Director of Special Projects from 2006 to 2011.
