dear old clemson, you were my dream and i didn’t even know it. you have brought me life long friendships and connections, exciting memories and experiences, a fantastic education, and above all else... you have made me a part of something. a community. a family. i was so nervous and so scared when i drove the hour and 45 minutes to move in 4 years ago. i cried the whole way, but yet there was a glimmer of hope and excitement. a new experience, a new opportunity, a chance to find somewhere where i belonged... and boy did i find it! it took me some time (and trial and error!), but this place is my second home and i feel a connection to every part of it deeply in my heart. but you can’t get rid of me that easily! you’ve got me here for one more year as i take on the marketing masters program. i am so excited to begin, and i am so grateful to be with you for one more year! here’s to us! sincerely... a not so scared senior, shelby🧡🐅
