it’s so hard to understand why good things come to an end.... the past 4 years has gifted me more than anyone ever could. i have learned the importance of friendships, grown in my relationship with God, learned how to become a leader, accepted failure and successes, gone through the valleys to get to the hills, and learned lessons that will get me so far in life. volleyball has shaped me into the person i am today and i have no idea where i would be without it. when i started volleyball at the age or 12 i never knew a sport so simple would effect me so greatly. all the blood, sweat, and tears have led us all to this last game, the last moment i would ever share the same experiences with all my best friends, teammates, and family. im so thankful for everyone i have crossed paths with on this journey who has helped me to keep pushing as i lost faith when i found out i was dealing with a ruptured disc and 2 bulging discs. it’s not how i planned to end my season or leave the sport but my love for the game covered up the pain. i wish i could have been out on the court with my girls this last month but sadly that wasn’t the case. i went through the toughest mental battle with this injury because i knew i worked so hard and should have been out on the court but i couldn’t; at the end of the day though, i knew i had to be there for my team. i truly will miss this sport so much no matter how many days i couldn’t bear to walk into practice😭 i love everyone who ive crossed paths with along the way; and to my friends, we will always share these memories and hold them close to our hearts. deuces ✌️ #35 #volleyball #senioryear #lastgame
