I spent so much mental energy trying to convince myself that my size, its limits and how I felt in my body wasn’t affecting my quality of life. I was in denial. I was trying to accept the life that I had because it’s what I was familiar with. Staying the same seemed easier than changing. It might have been easier when it came to how I showed up for myself but what it was taking from me wasn’t worth it. The journey has been hard. It’s been challenging. It’s been overwhelming. It’s been exhausting. But it has given me choice. It has given me confidence. It has given me freedom. It has given me LIFE! 🥰
