“Eye on the Road” is one of the most fragmented, cubist-inspired works in the “Last Call” exhibition, calling the past to mind while the imagery itself speeds toward a future place. Perhaps these characters are a vestige of the past, riding into a digital realm where information and imagery travel faster than any vehicle ever could as the bodies, motorcycle, and surrounding subjects fracture apart with Anna Park’s dynamic approach to charcoal drawing.
