I owe America so much; it is the beating heart of our business and as a canvas it offers so much breadth of material for the filmmaker. Without the energy and drive of our American gallery partners, talent of our printers and hunger of our suppliers, we would not be able to do what we do. It is fitting therefore that earlier today I was photographed with my new book Storytelling (Rizzoli New York) outside Independence Hall, Philadelphia where both the United States Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution were debated and adopted by America's Founding Fathers. The book will be out very soon and every penny of profit will be directed to our lead charity beneficiary of our US business - The American Family Children’s Hospital at The University of Wisconsin in Madison. We were introduced to this wonderful organisation by our dear friend and American icon Cindy Crawford and I am flattered that Cindy has written the foreword to the book. The book tour - which will include at least 20 venues in Europe and America - starts in Monaco in four weeks.
