AD - I had a tonne of fun with @johnniewalker, exploring their brand-new home @johnniewalkerprincestreet in Edinburgh (somewhere I still count as home!) I had the pleasure of collaborating with my fellow #JWNextSteps initiative partner @trashisfortossers to showcase some new serves team @mrlyanstudio and I have created with the brand. Make sure to give it a try at home and let us know what different profiles from the whisky you can taste! We’ve tried to use store-cupboard staples that are universal and stable (so you can buy some without worrying about them going off too quickly) so to make the infusion, combine 50ml JW Black Label, 50ml Water, 1 heaped teaspoon porridge oats, 1 heaped teaspoon custard powder and blend (stick blender is perfect) until mostly smooth. Pass through a sieve, pressing with the back of a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible, and then strain through a coffee filter — it’ll filter clear nicely! #KeepWalking #JWNextSteps
