Life update: I’m back home in Atlanta starting my next adventure on Stacey Abrams’ campaign for Governor of Georgia. Several months ago, I decided I was going to return to the South to support Georgia Democrats in the midterm election. I got connected with various campaigns and organizers, but nothing certain came to fruition. I knew this was where I needed to be after I wrapped up working at summer camp, so I decided to go ahead and put the wheels in motion to move back to Atlanta and trusted something would come together. With just 5 days to spare before my flight, I signed an offer last week for a staff role as an Operations Manager on Stacey’s team. I couldn’t be more excited about how things have fallen into place. I have a busy fall ahead, but I’m grateful to get to be a part of the change happening in Georgia and to support such an incredible leader.
