The trailer for jockey is finally here! It’s surreal that after so many years it will be in theaters soon. It would not exist if so many people hadn’t poured their hearts and souls into bringing it to life. I could not have done any of this without @gregkwedar supporting me for a decade now (!!) and helping grow this story beyond what I could see for it. @nschafer113 made the impossible happen every single day on set (and made it look effortless). @lindahalbert worked tirelessly to keep the ship afloat for all of us. They both spent years helping make the script as good and true as it could be. And @adolphoveloso somehow created magic with every frame he shot (the world looks better through his lens). Clifton (@mrwupass), Moises (@490tx), and #MollyParker delivered brilliant, heartbreaking performances alongside a host of wonderful first-time actors from the track. We couldn’t have hoped for a better crew. Each of them contributed to the storytelling and elevated the movie. This is the second film with @thisisbenfuqua & @jordy.wax of @contrastfilms — you won’t find better people to make a movie with. @turfparadise provided a stunning backdrop for the movie and the people who run the track worked as hard for the movie as we did. @moorparks is a brilliant editor and storyteller. I could never have found the rhythm for the movie without him. @burningtractor created invisible vfx magic (the best kind), @bleachcolorgrading made the color sing, and Lee Salevan created the soundscape that brought the movie to life. @brycedessner & @aarondessner were so generous to take time from their many other projects to create a beautiful, evocative score that lifts the movie off the ground. They’re as brilliant as they are kind. @thisisdanwilcox helped find the deep cuts to fill in the soundtrack and @_hologramme created that iconic song in the trailer and believed in fate enough to share the song with the movie. #jockeymovie
