UVALDE, Texas — A shooter murdered at least 19 children and two adults at a rural Texas elementary school on Tuesday. This is the bloodiest American school shooting since the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy. 18-year-old Salvador Ramos legally purchased two AR-style rifles along with 375 rounds of ammunition at a local federal firearms store on May 17 and on May 20. Politicians are pleading for thoughts and prayers, arguing that we must find a way to prevent such a horrific tragedy from occurring again. Many of those appointed politicians have gotten into their positions thanks to the gun lobby, their campaigns have received millions of dollars from organizations whose main mission is to obstruct the type of real change that may perhaps reduce this bloodshed. ------------------- PRIORITIES OF INSTITUTIONAL EXPENDITURE: WEAPONS.
