While @lecavalier.studio’s final collection for the #WoolmarkPrize is a surrealist vision of the future, it owes a great debt to the rich past of designer Marie-Ève Lecavalier’s native Canada. Lecavalier evolved her signature 3D, upcycled, zero-waste weaving technique to use Merino wool.⁠
